The first technique demonstrated by Scott Sonnen is a leg attack position that he calls the "Saddle" which is basically an Inside Triangle on your opponent's leg. From this position he shows how a pass or counter that he uses to escape leg control.
The pass actually becomes a flow drill back and forth.
Doing the drill back and forth will give you a sense of how to move in order to prevent damage to your knee. When your partner is passing the position and they shift from one side to the other if you don't go with them you could blow out your knee.
The video above actually gives you two techs for your money. The second one is a recounter to the first counter. This recounter is really nice !
I highly recommend Scott's leg lock DVD for anyone who wants to begin learning basic principles of lower body positional fighting. You can check it out by Clicking Here.
