This is a nice knee bar/guard pass combination that can surprise your opponent. The knee bar is real quick.
When you are going for the pass a good grappler will counter by dropping their leg to make it heavy and hard to pass. That's where the knee bar comes in.
As your opponent drops their leg to prevent the pass you go the other direction. Your knee will cut across your opponents hip as you spin through their guard.
Once you are in position it is important to pinch your knees together to secure the knee bar.
There's an extra bonus heel hook escape at the end of the video. You have to be one step ahead of your opponent in the trainsition so that he cannot lock on an Outer Traingle to secure the position and possibly get the submission.
