North South: Standing Carni

In this video Dean Lister goes over a technique that I call the Standing Carni. It is a really tight Omoplata shoulder lock that will, as Dean says either finish the fight or break things.

From the Jiu Claw position you go to this technique when your opponent stands up with their outside leg in an attempt to escape the position. As they stand you triangle your legs maintaining control of your opponent's wrist and hook your lead leg under the knee of the outside leg that they are standing with.

This is essentially the same position as the Carni only your opponent has one foot up instead of being on both knees.
