Rubber Guard: Pisa Sweep
The Pisa Sweep is a sweep from Mission Control that Ari Bolden of 10th Planet Victoria developed.
The sweep starts from Mission Control and is similar to the Flower Sweep.
The Pisa Sweep is more effective than the Flower Sweep in no-gi. The reason is that from Mission Control you have your opponent's posture broken down. You don't have the same kind of control with the Flower Sweep without the gi.
Another advantage of the Pisa Sweep is that your opponent is not able to strike or base out as they can with the Flower Sweep. It they do base out, bam ... they give you New York on the other side.
In the video Ari demonstrates the tech for gi and no-gi applications. It's nice because this sweep takes you right to the mount.
