The Puppet Master is a position off of the Rubix Cube that the guys at 8th Street Gym came up with.
In the video they go over many submissions from this position. Most of them are neck cranks but whatever's clever. This is some pretty innovative stuff.
They start by going to the Rubix Cube from the Butterfly Guard. Another transition option would be the Golden Arm from the Half Guard to the Rubix Cube. From the Rubix Cube they transition to the Puppet Master. They also throw in a nice sweep variation from the Rubix Cube.
All the innovation happens once they transition to the Puppet Master. This is a really unorthodox position which would be right at home in the 10th Planet system.
