Side Mount: Darce Setup
In this one Charles Pearson from Lockflow shows a real nice setup for the Darce choke from Side Control. It's kind of a three part setup.
First, he goes for a Triangle neck crank anticipating the counter. From there he goes right into a submission he calls the "Howdy."
The counter for the Howdy is for the person to get onto their side and turn in toward you. When they do this they turn right into the Darce choke.
I really like this setup. It truly embodies the chess like nature of grappling where you are thinking two or three steps ahead.
