This is an awesome foot sweep from the Russian Tie Up. This is a great set up for no-gi grappling. The Russian does not translate as well into MMA due to the fact that your opponent can punch or elbow with the free arm.
You start from the 2 on 1 position which gives your a lot of control of your opponent. Next you are going to step and sweep your opponent's foot.
They do a great job of demonstrating the technique in the video. Gene Mills is a 1980 World Super Champion in Japan and voted the Outstanding Wrestler. His list of credentials is too long to list here.
